Which service do I need?
Most people call us with a symptom rather than a diagnosis, which is completely fine, but if you'd like to narrow it down first, here's the short version:
- It's slow. Usually the hard drive. An SSD upgrade at $120 fixes it more often than anything else, and costs far less than replacing the machine.
- Pop-ups, redirects, or it's behaving strangely. Virus removal, from $80.
- It won't turn on or won't reach Windows. Diagnostic at $50 /hr, and your files are usually fine even when the machine isn't.
- The drive is clicking, or files have vanished. Stop using it and read data recovery. $400 flat, nothing if we can't recover it.
- The Wi-Fi or network is the problem. That only exists in your building: on-site at $130/hr.
- Email, printers, software, setup help. Remote support at $85/hr, no travel for anyone.
- You run a business and this keeps happening. Managed IT stops most of it happening at all.

HOW A JOB RUNS
What happens after you call
You describe the problem. We tell you what it is likely to be, which of the three routes suits it, and roughly what it will cost. Before anything is booked and before anyone has your machine. That conversation is free and it is not a sales call.
If it comes to the bench, diagnostics are $50/hr and usually quick. You get a number before we go further, and nothing beyond the diagnostic happens without you agreeing to it. If the honest answer is that the machine is not worth the repair, we will say so and you will have paid for an hour rather than a rebuild.
Our labour carries ninety days. If the work stops holding inside that, bring it back. Parts carry whatever the manufacturer gives them and we tell you what that is before you buy anything.
Data recovery works differently: $400 flat, and nothing at all if we cannot get your files back. One number, agreed up front, that does not move once the drive is in our hands.
