Stony Plain is out past Spruce Grove on the western edge of our service area, and we're on the south-west side of Edmonton. That's a genuine drive in both directions, and any shop that tells you distance doesn't affect what a call-out costs is being economical with the truth.

So we've built the service around not needing it. Between remote support and our $50 device pick-up, most Stony Plain customers never make the trip and never pay for us to make it either.

At $85 an hour with nothing to transport, remote handles a genuinely large share of what goes wrong:

When hardware fails

Physical faults need a bench. Rather than making you drive in, we'll collect the machine for a $50 flat fee and bring it back when it's finished.

That covers data recovery too: $400 flat per drive, and nothing at all if we can't recover your files. If a drive is clicking or grinding, switch it off now and resist the temptation to run recovery software on it. That software is how most recoverable drives become unrecoverable ones.

Acreages, outbuildings and rural internet

Properties around Stony Plain and into Parkland County tend to have more building to cover and less reliable service reaching them. Wi-Fi that dies at the far end of the house, a shop or garage with no usable signal, connections that drop under load. These are network problems, and they can only be properly diagnosed where they happen.
