When on-site is the right call

At $130 an hour this is our most expensive service per hour, and for a single laptop it's usually not the one you want: dropping it off costs less. On-site earns its keep when the problem genuinely can't be solved any other way:

• The network is the problem, not the computer. Dead spots, drops, slow Wi-Fi, and machines that can't see each other are problems that only exist in the building.
• There's a server involved. Servers don't travel, and the business usually can't be without one.
• The equipment is fixed in place: wired into a desk, wall-mounted, or connected to machinery that isn't moving.
• Confidentiality means nothing leaves the premises. We work with medical and legal offices where this isn't negotiable.
• It's several machines at once. One visit beats several trips.
• You physically can't transport it: no vehicle, mobility limits, or it's simply too heavy.

How it works

Tell us what's happening and we'll give you a free quote before anything is scheduled. If the problem turns out to be something better solved remotely or on the bench, we'll say so: there's no sense charging you $130 an hour for something remote support could fix for $85.

On the day, we diagnose it where it lives, and where possible fix it in the same visit. If a part is needed we'll tell you what and why before ordering anything.

Where we go

Edmonton and the surrounding communities: Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. We're based in the south-west of the city, so travel time varies a bit by direction. Ask when you call and we'll be straight with you about it.

Further out than that? Get in touch anyway. Depending on the job, remote support may solve it without anyone travelling at all.
