The web version is split into small image pieces, so visitors load detail as they zoom instead of downloading the full-resolution file at once. We can also discuss a high-resolution file for print or archival use.
Common questions
Is this the same as a 360° virtual tour?
No. The example above is one wide, fixed viewpoint that you explore by zooming into detail. A 360° tour lets you turn around or move between viewpoints. We can discuss which format suits your project.
What makes a panorama “gigapixel”?
A gigapixel is one billion pixels, or 1,000 megapixels. Our Downtown Edmonton example is 905 megapixels, so it is close but we label it accurately. Final resolution depends on the scene and capture plan.
Can you put it on our website?
